Smartphone workshop: Mood & image impact

01.04.26 - 01.04.26 08:30 - 12:30
  • In this course, we teach the essential principles of photography—from deliberate composition to precise exposure—and adapt them specifically to the characteristics of smartphone cameras. A special focus is placed on portrait photography: the studio becomes a creative stage where participants learn how to portray people professionally, both in natural light and in expressive black-and-white style.

We also deepen key design principles such as the Golden Ratio and demonstrate how compelling images with depth emerge through skillful changes in perspective, the use of reflections, and the discovery of graphic patterns. Another important component is a focus on aesthetics in social media. Together, we explore what defines a successful portrait and how light and shadow can be used to create specific moods. Practical tips on image editing with professional apps and filters round out the program, equipping participants with the tools to continue developing their passion for photography creatively beyond the holidays.
