With the Christmas Soirée on Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Ernst Leitz Museum opens a special season – an evening for those who love art, appreciate atmosphere, and wish to bring the year to a close in an elegant setting.

From 6:00 p.m., the museum foyer transforms into a stage for the senses. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for an evening that beautifully blends photography, music, and festive encounters. Large-scale projections of iconic Leica photographs merge light and shadow, motion and stillness, creating captivating winter imagery from around the world – not as mere scenery, but as emotional spaces where memory, beauty, and quiet poetry come alive.

The evening’s musical accompaniment comes from Rick Coleman, an exceptional artist from New York whose soulful voice and jazzy piano melodies fill the room with warmth. His music doesn’t speak loudly – it moves deeply, subtly, and with timeless elegance. The perfect soundscape for encounters, conversations, and inspiring moments.

Culinary highlights will also delight the senses: selected festive finger food meets refined signature cocktails. Delicate aromas of cinnamon, orange, and clove accompany guests through the museum’s spaces, creating an ambiance that extends far beyond the visual.
