Travelling by car
The World of Leica is easy to reach via the A45 motorway (Dortmund-Hagen). From the motorway exit "Wetzlar-Süd", please follow the signs to "Stattmitte" and "Leitz-Park" for a good two kilometres on the L3451. The first exit at the roundabout with the large globe will lead you directly to us.

Car parks
The World of Leica offers numerous free parking spaces on the grounds of the Leitz Park. Cars and motorbikes can park in the car parks behind the Ernst Leitz Museum and in the car parks around Café Leitz. Buses can park in a bay directly on the road and motorhomes or caravans can use the parking spaces at Leitz-Park Wald.
Charging stations for electric vehicles
In the car parks behind the Ernst Leitz Museum in the direction of Leitz-Park Wald, 12 Tesla Superchargers with a charging capacity of 250 KW and four parking spaces with two connections each and charging capacities of 22 and 50 KW are available around the clock. All connections have EU standard Type 2 charging sockets.
Travelling by public transport.
To reach us by public transport, take the number 11 bus at Wetzlar railway station in the direction of Gießen and get off at "Am-Leitz-Pak". It is 11 stops and about a 15-minute journey from the station to us.
Please note: The bus stop "Am-Leitz-Park" will be closed in both directions until 4 October 2024 due to construction work. Alternatively, line 11 and line 12 will stop at "Wetzlar Schanzenfeldstraße".
