On March 22, 2025, a special highlight awaits you at Leica Welt: photographer Andreas Jorns, who will be presenting his new photo book “Im Jahr des Drachen” that evening, will take you on an exclusive discovery tour through the fascinating world of Leica in the afternoon.

The 60-minute tour starts at 3 p.m. and offers you extraordinary insights into the history and manufacture of the legendary Leica products. Get to know the fascinating combination of German engineering and precise craftsmanship that makes Leica cameras, lenses and binoculars world-famous premium products.

As a special highlight, Andreas Jorns will accompany this tour in person. Take the opportunity to get to know him better in a small group, ask questions and talk to him about photography, inspiration and his work. This tour combines a unique introduction to the world of Leica with the opportunity to meet the photographer in a relaxed atmosphere - an exclusive get-together that rarely takes place.

The number of participants is limited to 15 in order to guarantee a personal and intensive experience. The price for the tour is 20 euros per person.

In the evening, you will also have the opportunity to experience Andreas Jorns live in his lecture on “Im Jahr des Drachen” (separate registration required), which will be held in german.

Andreas Jorns (*1966) is a renowned photographer from Haan (Rheinland), known for his photo books, which he publishes himself. Twice a year, his free newspaper „einBlick“ is released. In his podcast „Radio Jorns“, he discusses photographic topics and plays his favorite music. In 2023, Andreas Jorns was appointed to the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie (DGPh).
