    About Götz Schleser

Götz Schleser is a master of portrait photography. For over two decades, he has captured faces – genuine, striking, and narrative. Whether politicians, artists, or CEOs, it’s the person that matters in front of his camera, not the role. Using light, shadow, and a keen sense for the perfect moment, he creates authentic portraits that transcend mere representation.

His work has been featured in prestigious media outlets such as SPIEGEL, DIE ZEIT, and the Cultural Foundation of the German States. His long-term project "Föderal," a visual survey of political power in Germany, has received significant acclaim and was exhibited at the Leica Gallery Wetzlar. Beyond his commissioned work, Schleser shares his expertise as a lecturer in portrait photography, demonstrating in his workshops how to create honest photography – with humor, empathy, and a clear focus on the essentials.
