Flash & Focus: Museum Night 2025

The wait is almost over! On Saturday, May 24, join us for the fourth edition of Museum Night and experience Flash & Focus – A Night of Photography with Beats & Cocktails at the Ernst Leitz Museum. Starting at 8 PM, the museum will transform into a vibrant dancefloor, setting the stage for an extraordinary night in a unique atmosphere. Enjoy lively conversations and expertly crafted drinks at the bar. This event has firmly established itself as a highlight of the cultural calendar.

Once again, you can dance to the sounds of DJ Oli Roventa. The Wetzlar-based artist performs at top clubs across Europe and is the creative force behind the musical concept of Gibson Club in Frankfurt, where he has been a resident DJ for 13 years. His portfolio also includes radio shows on YOU FM and Ibiza Live Radio. On May 24, get ready for an electrifying fusion of DJ beats, live saxophone by Niklas Wagner, and live percussion by Trommellichter.

Immerse yourself in our interactive museum experience and experiment with creative elements at our photography stations, where you’ll find inspiration for extraordinary compositions. Plus, we have a special surprise for you: our in-house photo studio will feature a themed setup, where our photographer will capture you—either solo or in a group. Your professionally edited images will be available for download after the event.

During Museum Night, the Ernst Leitz Museum will be showcasing The Magic of the Streets: Masterpieces of Street Photography from the Leica Archive. This exhibition features over 100 iconic works of street photography from the Leica Archive, including masterpieces by legendary photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, René Burri, Elliott Erwitt, and many more.

The outdoor area in front of the museum provides the perfect space to relax and unwind. Treat yourself to delicious fries and BBQ specialties while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
