She Shoots Leica: Different Women, one love
10.03.26 - 03.05.26 Café Leitz-
Photography thrives on perspectives, attitudes, and experiences—and on those who make them visible. With the exhibition “Different Women, One Love,” the collective “She Shoots Leica,” in collaboration with Leica World, is sending a conscious message about women in photography on International Women's Day. From March 10 to May 3, 2026, visitors to Café Leitz at Leica Welt in Wetzlar can discover a variety of photographic perspectives: personal visual languages and individual stories, all driven by a shared passion for the medium.
The exhibition features photographic works by female photographers from the “She Shoots Leica” collective. Several works enter into a shared photographic dialogue. The works on display range from documentary, poetic, and experimental approaches to street, travel, portrait, and reportage photography. They tell of people and moments, of closeness and distance, of quiet observations and strong attitudes.
In collaboration with Leica World, the exhibition invites visitors to discover photography from different perspectives and engage with diverse visual narratives. International Women's Day provides a point of reference, directing attention to visibility, exchange, and the role of women in contemporary photography—not as a demarcation, but as an enrichment.
The exhibition “Different Women, One Love” by the collective “She Shoots Leica” will be on display at Café Leitz (Am Leitz-Park 5) from March 10 to May 3 during the café's opening hours. The café is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
About the collective “She Shoots Leica”

She Shoots Leica was founded in 2024 by Anika Vehring and Antje Huck and sees itself as an international network of female photographers who understand photography as a form of personal expression and collaborative dialogue. The collective brings together a variety of professional backgrounds and photographic approaches – from documentary and artistic photography to street, travel, and portrait photography, as well as journalistic work.
The participating photographers include Jennifer Schäufelin, Bettina Meister, Wiebke Münchau, Pia Parolin, and Sophie Linckersdorff. Together, they are committed to visibility, exchange, and a diverse photographic narrative culture. “She Shoots Leica” stands for openness, mutual inspiration, and the firm belief that photography gains from different perspectives.
