On Saturday, June 13, the 48th Leitz Photographica Auction will take place at the Leica Headquarters. As the exclusive preview of the auction lots will be hosted directly on the premises of the Leica Classic Store (also located at the headquarters), the store layout is being adapted for the exhibition. Consequently, the Classic Store team, products, and services will temporarily relocate to the Leica Store Wetzlar.

Before the cameras go under the hammer on Saturday, bidders and enthusiasts have the opportunity to examine the rare pieces up close. The premises of the Leica Classic Store inside the headquarters will serve as the gallery for these premium exhibits.

To create sufficient space for the presentation and the additional display cases for the auction lots, the retail floor of the Classic Store is undergoing a temporary remodeling.

• From June 5 | Stock Relocation due to Remodeling: As the Classic Store floor is being cleared for the upcoming setup, the regular retail stock is moving. You will find the historical cameras, vintage accessories, and the familiar team of experts fully available at the Leica Store Wetzlar from June 5 to June 15 (located just a few meters away, also within the Leica Welt). Our full range of services remains uninterrupted.
• From June 10 | Start of the Auction Preview: Once the remodeling work is completed, the special exhibition will open its doors. Starting Wednesday, June 10, you are cordially invited to view the spectacular auction lots inside the Classic Store.

Following the auction weekend, the retail stock will move back to its original location. Starting Tuesday, June 16, the Leica Classic Store at the headquarters will reopen with its regular inventory and resume normal business hours.
