    During your stay with us, you will be accommodated at the stylish Ernst Leitz Hotel. There you can already immerse yourself in the Leica myth: each room is individually designed and showcases the Leica brand in its own unique way. You can settle in, relax in the sauna and prepare for eventful days ahead.


    Enjoy an exclusive tour that takes you to places not accessible to regular visitors. Our guides will provide fascinating insights into the company's history and the production of our products while answering your individual questions.


    Immerse yourself in the World of Leica at our exhibitions, which range from production milestones and icons of photography to the works of contemporary photographers. You can put your newfound inspiration to the test at the interactive Ernst Leitz Museum, where you will find not only exciting information about the company's history but also interesting facts about photography and several photo stations where you can actively participate.


    Make use of the weekend to take a long walk in the adjacent Leitz-Park Forest, featuring the Leica Nature Trail, which spans over three kilometers. There you will find relaxation at any time of year as well as information about the local flora and fauna and regularly changing expressive outdoor exhibitions.


    Would you like to experience Wetzlar, the city of optics, and follow in the footsteps of Oskar Barnack? Then discover the photographic tour from Leitz-Park to the old town of Wetzlar. You will not only find the spot where Oskar Barnack took one of the first photos with the 35 mm camera he developed but also the city of Wetzlar’s optics course, inviting you to experiment and explore. Would you like to be active in photography yourself?Get individual advice at our Leica Store and borrow the right camera for you, depending on availability.


    Culinary delights are also part of your weekend experience. Café Leitz awaits you with homemade delicacies and various coffee specialties. In 2018 and 2022, it was awarded by the magazine Der Feinschmecker and is officially recognized as one of the best cafés in Germany.


    Your experience package also includes a 3-course menu at the hotel restaurant Oskar's. Look forward to regional, fresh and modern cuisine, excellent service and a special welcome drink to start your Leica experience.

    • A 90-minute VIP tour of the World of Leica


    • Product consultation at the Leica Store Wetzlar, including the loan of a product

    Please note: The tour, the product consultation and a table at Café Leitz are scheduled for Saturday. You can visit the museum on all days, the 3-course menu and the welcome drink can be enjoyed either on Friday or Saturday.
